Get Ready pose at Magic Kingdom!
Magic Kingdom is filled with unforgettable attractions, and some of them come with a little extra Disney Magic, an on ride photo! Whether you want to capture a hilarious reaction, a perfectly timed smile, or the whole family screaming together, knowing where the cameras are can help you get ready. Here are the Magic Kingdom rides that capture photos and exactly where to look for those picture perfect moments.
Buzz Lightyear's Space Ranger Spin
Ready to save the galaxy and capture the moment? On Buzz Lightyear's Space Ranger Spin, the photo camera is near the end of the ride on the right side. It comes just after you exit the warp tunnel and enter the final room featuring Emperor Zurg. Keep those blasters ready and your best space ranger pose prepared because you never know what kind of photo you might get!
Haunted Mansion
Even your trip through the Haunted Mansion comes with a chance to capture a spooky souvenir! The camera is located near the beginning of the ride in the hallway featuring the famous changing portraits. Since this comes fairly early in the attraction, you will want to be ready as you make your way through this eerie part of the mansion. A spooky expression is completely optional, but definitely encouraged!
Seven Dwarfs Mine Train
Seven Dwarfs Mine Train gives you two chances to capture your adventure, making it one of the best Magic Kingdom rides for ride photos. The first camera is after the small lift hill, just before you enter the interior mine scene. The second photo opportunity comes on the main drop after you exit the interior mine, on the left side at the bottom of the curve of the hill. With two cameras, you may want to keep smiling for the entire ride!
Space Mountain
Blast off into the darkness and get ready for your close up! On Space Mountain, the camera is near the beginning of the ride, right after you exit the blue strobe light star tunnel on the very first curve. Since the ride gets dark and fast very quickly, knowing where the camera is ahead of time gives you a better chance of being ready. Whether you are smiling, screaming, or holding on for dear life, this photo is sure to capture the excitement!
Tiana's Bayou Adventure
Grab your best frog friendly smile because Tiana's Bayou Adventure captures your photo during the big drop at the top of the track! This is the moment when the excitement really kicks in, so your ride photo may capture everything from huge smiles to hilarious screams. If you are hoping for a fun family photo, this is definitely one where you will want to know when the camera is coming.
TRON Lightcycle / Run
For a photo that captures the speed and excitement of TRON, get ready inside the indoor launch tube. The camera is positioned right before you head outside, giving you a chance to capture the anticipation just before you launch into the open-air portion of the attraction. Since everything happens so quickly, knowing where the camera is ahead of time can help you get your best Lightcycle pose ready!
Keep These Photo Spots in Mind!
Now you know where to get ready for your ride photos at Magic Kingdom! From battling Emperor Zurg to racing through the darkness on Space Mountain, each attraction offers a unique opportunity to capture a fun Disney memory. Save this list before your next Walt Disney World vacation so you can be ready to smile, scream, pose, or simply enjoy the ride when that camera appears.
